Ahead of Apple’s iPhone 7 event tomorrow, the latest supply chain analysis from KGI analyst Ming-Chi Kuo notes that Apple is developing a Bluetooth-like wireless chip likely to be used in new wireless headphones. KGI Securities has released its first two analyst notes on the iPhone forecast since Apple’s big event on Tuesday. In the new reports, KGI addresses the later-than-anitipacted pre-order and delivery dates for the iPhone X, Apple Watch Series 3 with LTE features, and more. KGI predicted back in August that all three new iPhones would launch together with the OLED model shipping in extremely small quantities. Specifically, KGI expected 2-4 million units of what we now call the iPhone X to ship 2-4 million units in Q3 with 45-50 million units shipped by the end of the year....

KGI analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, in a report this morning, states that both 4.7- and 5.5-inch models of the iPhone 6 will be launched next week and will both offer 128GB storage option. If Apple retains its usual three-tier structure this would suggest 32GB, 64GB and 128GB models – though it could be that 128GB would be a fourth tier, as with its iPad Air models. Or, as a previous report suggested, Apple could keep the 16GB option as a very low price tier and skip 32GB....
